The Government of Mozambique, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance and with the support of the World Bank, is implementing the Mozambique Economic Linkages for Diversification Project (EL4D/PLED).

The objective is to strengthen the performance of MSMEs in Mozambique through economic linkages

Our project component prioritizes the Provinces of Cabo Delgado, Tete, and Nampula. It aims to promote the capacity, quality, finance and access to markets of Mozambican MSMEs

For Consumption Linkages activities, Component 1 will expand the productivity and employment in MSMEs/informal firms with a focus on the priority provinces.

This training will be delivered to consumption linkages beneficiaries reaching over time 9,000 firms.

For the implementation of digital solutions, financial services, technical knowledge for workers, and sector-specific training, we are looking for a team leader to lead a team of 5 key experts.

The Team Leader is responsible to coordinate the work of the team, is the overall responsible for the implementation and achievement of results, is the account manager liaising with institutional stakeholders of the project, and will have the responsibility to select two of the best trainers to be part of the team.

Qualifications: 

The Team Leader is expected to have the following qualification and experience:

  •  ·Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • At least 15 years of experience working in projects in developing countries
  • Experience of at least 8 years managing the implementation of large-scale training programs
  • Experience of at least 8 years in leadership positions
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
